CA: Firearms misdemeanor -
Can one possess in California with an out of state firearms-related misdemeanor conviction from another state?

If you are a 'prohibited' person under fed or state statutes or court orders from any state, it applies everywhere. NICS will show that on your records. If not specifically prohibited, then you must look to see if your conviction fits the definitions of crimes that result in prohibition in CA.
