Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I am from California and was attacked by my co driver in Wyoming. he stabbed me 7 times and he was charged with attempted murder. the district attorney said they're considering taking a plea bargain for aggravated assault and give him time served which is about 11 months.
question: if I feel the district attorney is wrong for doing this is there anything I can do?

Where you are from has nothing to do with the WY case. You can speak to that DA office and try to influence them and their attitude about the case. You can not 'force' a prosecutor to do anything, but you can try to plead your situation and the need for severe punishment.
