Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
California penal code 487 grand theft
Hi, will a violation of penal code 487 for grand theft in San Francisco show up on background and fingerprint checks for employment for any jobs including security jobs? Was never charged, arrested, fingerprinted or convicted. Happened in school campus. I know it's on record for the campus police but I passed probation and done with school now but will any of this show on a background/fingerprint check including the title felony? Please help. Thank you.

Well, if you weren't fingerprinted, how would fingerprints show up? If you weren't charged, how would you have a record?
