California Statie of limitations for theft
If i approach an old employer i worked for over 8+ years ago and let them know that i stole from them while employed and make payement arangments to make right the wrong....can they press charges and/or have me arrested?

Probably not, the statutes should be passed by now. Even if they weren't, I'd think the employer would not press charges on a repentant person trying to make it right. Good for you.
