Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I have several cases that I haven't taken care of. A DUI in March 2006 in Santa Maria County and driving with a suspension from DUI, driving without insurance, and driving without a license which occured a couple of months after my DUI during my process of obtaining a restricted license from the DMV. I also have another case open for possession of a graffiti tool (marker) which I was convicted for in 2006 also. These are all misdemeanors and I need to closed these cases because I want to reinstate my license and have been getting denied a job because of them. What is the best thing to do at this point? What would be the best lawyer to contact? I need to deal with these cases without serving time because I can't risk losing my job because I have a 10 mo. old son that I need to take care of. Please offer me the best advise.

You are going to want to try to expunge the from your record. This is a relative simple process, but one that you will certainly want an attorney's expertise. Important information that will be needed: (1) are you currently on probation or parole? (2) were you previously and completed it? (3) any other priors?

I, or one of my associates can assist you with this and would be happy to do so.

You need to have more reasonable expectations about the likelihood of serving time. No one is going to honestly promise you that these can be plea bargained or tried without getting jail time. Repeat offenders face that outcome. Contact a local criminal defense attorney and hope for the best. He'll use whatever defenses and 'sympathies' you may have to get the best deal possible. Remember, if you reject a deal, then go to trial and lose, you face mandatory sentencing to the full term provided in the law.
