ive been caught shoplifting today. i truly regret it, im 19 years old and it was around $120 worth of items. please tell me i wont go to jail...i truly am sorry

If this is your first offense, you're not going to go to jail. You may even be able to get the case dismissed, depending on certain factors. Your worst possible outcome would be a plea to petty theft and restitution. Good Luck.....
