ok i got caught stealling at a department store the amount was about 500 dollars i got bailled and i have court tomorrow and i was woundering what type of rulement will the judge give or what will happen do i need a lawyer or not? by the way im just turned 19 and when this happened i was 18

Yeah, you need a lawyer, but you won't get one at the last minute. Probably by now you've been to court. Don't plead guilty The most probable outcome is you won't be able to get a job, ever.
You need a lawyer -- not because the law requires one (it doesn't) but because only someone who knows what she is doing will potentially be able to minimize
your sentence and the damage to your future.
You apparently face misdemeanor charges, with potential jail, fines, etc. After arrest, your first court hearing is an arraignment, where your attorney or you will plead not guilty and set a date for hearing called 'pre-trial'. If you can't hire an attorney before tomorrow, go and plead not guilty, get the copy of the pleadings filed against you, do not discuss the case with anyone, except your attorney.
