Can i change court dates or countys.

I was recently given a ticket for dui in La county and want to know if i can change from going to court in La to going here in riverside County where I live.

NO. But if sentenced to DUI school program, you can probably go in your county. Feel free to contact me if interested in hiring counsel to help you minimize the penalties and consequences of the arrest, or try the case if it is one where you have a chance of getting a not guilty verdict.

Nope. Cases are heard in the county where the wrong was committed. The convenience of the defendant is not sufficient reason to transfer a case elsewhere.

Prosecutions are moved to different counties only when circumstances (usually heavy media coverage) would prevent the accused from receiving a fair trial in the county where the alleged offense took place. Cases like Scott Peterson's get transfered. Cases like yours don't.
