Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I have a charge against a person who tried to blackmail me and I reported it to the police and he fill out a report and sent it to d.a. however if the d.a. doesnt favor my request to charge the person with the crime what can I do?

If police won't file criminal charges, you could file a civil suit if you think you have actual evidence and proof, and if you think it is worth spending the money for fees and costs to do so. If he has nothing, nothing is what you'll get out of the suit. If he is harassing you, a restraining order could be sought.
