Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
when charged with a case and bail is posted, then it is exonerated due to an intent not to prosecute, then you are notified by mail that there has been a refile of charges three weeks later and you go to court date as notified can they require you to post another bond or stay in jail/

Yes. But talk to your 'old' bail bondsman and see if the bond can be transferred to the new case.
