Want and wish away. You are charged with a crime. That arrest is on your 'permanent' record with court and DOJ. If you are convicted or plead, that also will be on your 'permanent' record. That is the natural consequence of a crime. If you want to hire an attorney to defend against the charges, and try to seek a dismissal, negotiated plea bargain or a win at trial, now is the time to do so.
