Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

im charged with a 242pc and i wasnt even there

On 5-24-06 an xfriend went to the valley substation to make a battery report against me. She stated that on i burned her with a cigarette on the arm. And stating this wasnt the first time, on 5/14/06 she said i rode my bike up to her car window while she was stopped in heave traffic and reached throught the window and burnt her arm, and yelled thet her days are numbered and dont drive with your kids because youll never know what will happen. The cop asked why she had waited 10 days to make a report, she stated after the 2nd time she felt i was dangerous and delusional and feared for her and her kids lives. He took pictures of the visible scab on her arm, but she has no witnesses or even a hospital report. I am awaiting trial on the 29 of dec. But am currently on probation. Her police report went before the DAs desk and a declaration warrent went out for my arrest. I never did any of this to her yet its her word against mine. what should i do?

Have an Attorney at trial and do a complete investigation into the case...

What should you do? Either continue to flail about aimlessly, or hire an attorney to minimize the chances of jail time. Feel free to contact me if serious about defending yourself.

Your trial starts in four days and you're only now asking what you should do? You should get a lawyer immediately, as you should have done long ago.
