Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
What can I do with someone coming on my property when I am not home, who disassembles my equipment.

1) You can call the police and have the person arrested for vandalism. But you will have to prove that the specific person entered your property and damaged your equipment.
2) You can sue for trespass in civil court. If you have questions about this you should post in a civil litigation category.

File a police report and try to get them to investigate and bring criminal charges..
Sue the person if you can actually 'prove' your allegations, and if it is economically worth spending the money on attorney fees.
