Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Complaint filed(PC242)against me for trying to protect my son.

A 5th grade boy was in the act of trying to beat up my 1st grade son, I ran over and pushed the boy. When he fell he broke his wrist. There was an adult witness who gave a statement that I only pushed the boy, and that the boy had been ''aggressive'' and ''bullying'' to some other kids earlier. I have no violent record, and am being arraigned on ''allegation''. Will a PD be sufficient? What am I looking at?

You're looking at jail time if convicted. If you qualify for a PD, then that is your choice. If you want to hire an attorney to defend you, feel free to contact me. You should get statements from the witnesses now before they get 'brain fade' for any reason. Those witnesses are your defense.
