Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor
My son, a couple of weeks after turning 18 was driving a car with 16 & 17 year old boys in it. My son was not drinking but the boys in the car had some unopened beer. They were pulled over and my son got a ticket for ''Contributing to the Delinquency of Minors''. What can he expect as punishment in court?

potential jail [though somewhat unlikely if this is 1st offense], fines, alcohol program, and loss of license. Depends on the actual facts, rap sheet, and the attitude of the DA and judge. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting legal help he'll need.
