Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I was convicted of Calif. Penal Code 288(a) in 1982 and served 4 years. I've applied for Megans law internet exlusion several years ago and was turned down.

I've had no further sex offenses since the one 30 years. I think this should count for exclusion. Yet on the Megans law exclusion form I don't meet the requirements. Is there any legal way to obtain this Megan's Law internet exclusion?

I pled guilty to this. I assume a governor's pardon would be unobtainable.

You read the requirements. Only if you meet them do you get it.

Pardon is not unobtainable, just highly unlikely. There are very few granted, the process is expensive, and is only successful with overwhelming 'good cause', not just because your record creates problems for you. It does for every convicted felon.
