I need help

I was convicted of felony possession of a firearm in 2006, i am now 3 years in to my probation and about to get early termination of my probation and i wanted to know if i can get a espungment for my case.

Yes you can, as soon as the probation is terminated. It can be done at the same time as the probation terminates, or it can be done afterwards. If you have completed probation successfully, you should be able to expunge. Your lawyer should handle this for you. Also, look into the possibility of reducing your charge to misdemeanor, if possible.

Yes, you can, but it is under Penal Code Section 1203.4, which does not seal or destroy any arrest or conviction records. It only authorizes you to deny being convicted on some job applications. If they do a record history check, it will still show. See the following articles for more information on expungement:

Probably. Expungement will allow you to say 'no' to conviction on private employment applications. However, it will not restore your firearms rights lost by the felony conviction and/or direct court order.
