Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Convicted of misdemeanor
i was charged with felony identity theft and was represented by a lawyer who got it plead down to a misdemeanor unlawful use of id. We had hoped for diversion but was unable to get it because of another case that was subsequently dismissed and some key evidence that I now have. Is it possible to appeal the decision and get the sentence even further reduced?
