Sure, you can get legal advice. You just can't get it here. Actual specific legal advice can only be given a 'client'. It will come from a criminal defense attorney hired for the case, after review of all the facts and evidence available in the case, to see if there are grounds for various motions to suppress evidence, or defenses at trial, etc. The only general advice you can get here is that if there are 'technicalities' sufficient to provide grounds for motions and hearings, someone that knows what they are doing will have to bring them.

If serious about hiring private counsel for him, seek referrals from friends and family, or from the local Bar Association. Or, apply to the Public Defender.

Your son's case needs attention and review by a skilled lawyer. It very well might be that your son was illegally arrested but no one other than a lawyer who knows all the relevant facts and read all the reports can help you. If your son cannot afford private counsel, one will be appointed for him by the court.
