Criminal charges

my brother was arrested & charged w/Attempted Murder on police officer plus 4/lesser charges. some attys. have said he would do min. 25-Life w/ or without atty. & charge 25-35,ooo. Is this true?

If convicted, he's going to prison for a long time; the length depends on the charge[s] against him. The purpose of having an attorney is to try to avoid conviction, of course, to negotiate a reasonable 'deal' or go to trial. That's what you pay your money for. The fees quoted are certainly not excessive., rather the minimum I would expect. Feel free to contact me if he is serious about getting counsel.
