Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

my friend lives is california and she was house arrested as fugitive with warrent that was from colorado. she is being held with no bail. she had no aknowledge of this situation that supposely happend almost 9 yrs ago. she has a court date set in 2 weeks, if the plantiff can't be located or in contact would she be set free or would she be still transported to state of colorado? does she need to get 2 attorney? one in california and 1 in colorado?

She needs a CA attorney to try to fight extradition here and/or negotiate a deal with the CO courts with the help of a CO attorney she will also have to hire.
