Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Criminal Law

I was convicted of a Felony in CA.

Upon Release from Jail to Probabtion

i moved out of state to UT. There, I

got caught up in a situation with a

gy who commited an arson, I was

also convicted, of a life sentence, at

trial. when released, i was extridicted

back to CA and re-sentenced to

Prison. I was finally released from CA

Prison, appealed my UT Felony

COnviction and was offered a Class-A

misdemeanor (yes from a LIFE

SENTENCE to a Class-A) how do i go

back to the CA court and ask for a

1203.4, or expungement? my

understanding is that once i went to

prison, my life is done? Also, If i gain

a full pardon from the UTAH board of

pardons, will that help me gain

better post conviction relief in CA?

Thank You in advance, William

Re: Criminal Law

No CA expungment is available for felony convictions having state prison time served or even sentenced. Misdemeanors with jail are possible to expunge. If that's the case, feel free to contact me for help.
