Not a lot of info here thus I suggest you sit down with counsel asap and go over the factual setting. These types of cases are very serious.

There are lots of options for you in this type of case. However, you have not supplied enough information to provide you a dif. answer.

Your options?
Convince the DA with facts and evidence that the charges are not warranted and you are 'innocent'.
Negotiate a plea bargain.
Win the trial.
None of which you are likely to do without counsel.

You need a lawyer immediately. Making a case "go away" is hard to do. The judge can't dismiss the case unless the prosecutor asks him to or you win a motion for dismissal -- which would usually require you to show either that no reasonable jury could possibly convict you or that the D.A. made a very serious procedural error. None of these things is likely to happen, but you will have a better chance if you get a lawyer than if you don't.

I have to concur with some of the answers you've received so far - there are many pressures, political and otherwise, that make it difficult to make a case like this "go away", as you put it.
However, if your attorney wins a motion to dismiss, a motion to suppress evidence, or a trial, the case would end up in a not guilty, which is functionally the same as it going away. That requires a lot of work with the facts and the law, and good counsel, but it does happen.
