Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
I need help deciding if I have a good case that should be pursued and could benefit me in a big way. I was jumped and my car was stolen, I know who did it. and because of this situation I had to quit my job, I lost my car, and had to relocate.

If you knew who stole your car, why didn't you call the police and report the car stolen and tell them who did it?
"Big case"?? Car thieves and thugs generally have no money other than what they steal each day, so how is this a "big case" with 'big money' recovery?
Report it to police and hope for the best with restitution through the courts and probation department.
Now, if you know better, and the thug is actually rich, has assists and income that you could reasonably collect against someday if you win a case, then maybe it IS worth you investing in a case against him. If so, contact me to discuss the costs of such case, and its value.
If you are talking about suing the thief you need to put your question on a civil litigation page.
