Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
two defendants in drug case, one has prior history ( several convictions in a few yrs time with jail time served) other has 1 approx 10 yrs ago, compleated program deffered entry of judgement..resulting in dismissal. (has conflict atty) public defender for def. with mult priors asked for "motion to Sever" for client...not sure what it meant
