Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Discharge Gun Condition
Restore gun rights/ PC 242 in August of 2006 / 10 year gun restriction / want to go into military but wont take me with restriction / research suggests can petition court only if ''subjected to the prohibition prior to 242 being added to the statute.'' Does that mean the court wont even consider lifting the restriction? Does that mean I have to try a pardon on a misdemeanor? Does the judge have the power to lift the restriction regardless of what the statute says? Help
