Re: Dna/criminal law

DNA samples are usually taken from all criminals arrested now as standard procedure. Any matches will be very quick, once the sample is run and entered into the system.

Re: Dna/criminal law

All residential burglaries are treated as violent, because they can often result in violent confrontations between the burglar and homeowner. For that reason, it is one of the more serious felonies one can commit. There are many ways of collecting DNA and other forensic evidence, both at the scene of the crime and afterward. That's the problem with leading a life of crime, you never know when the knock on the door will come or when the cop behind you will turn on his or her red lights. If I were you I would 1) never, ever steal anything from anybody, ever again; and 2) live an upstanding life so that if you are ever charged with a crime you will be able to have character witnesses and other evidence that could reduce your sentence or even get you probation.
