domestic violence
i am a victim of domestic violence and was told by my family to file a police report and a warrannt for arrest even though i didnt want to. he's been arrested and has been held for 3 days. court is comig up soon, but no DA has contacted me. can i retract or drop charges?

Nope. The DA is doing what you asked the police to do. Once a report, warrant and arrest is made, the DA will pursue regardless of your change of heart. They do so because most abused women chicken out, from fear or stupidly thinking 'he'll change and be all lovey dovey'.
