Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
driving on a suspended license
I need to reschedule my court date because its the same day i go back to school. i called the court house and they said the only way I can reschedule is to miss the court date. but if i miss it the court will issue a bench warrant. what should i do? can i skip court altogether an just pay the fines required?

You should probably return to school a day late and appear in court as scheduled.

go to court on an earlier day and have the file sent to court, where you can make your request.
