Dui and 273A(A)
My brother was arrested for having a BAC of .08 and had his daughter in the car while driving. He has been charged w/ 273A(A). He has one previos DUI arrest last year. What should be his next steps?

1. Have him take a picture of his daughter so he'll have something to remember her by after the social workers show up to take her away.
2. Have him hire a local attorney to fight the DUI if possible.
3. Arrange a family intervention and get him some help for his drinking problem.

Hire an attorney to reduce the likelihood of prison time and loss of custody. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so.

This is a serious charge, especially if your brother is being charged with a felony. Felony could mean state prison time. Having a previous DUI just last year is very damaging. This case requires a dedicated and effective attorney.
