DUI, Probation Violation, Petty Theft

I was convicted of a DUI in 12/03. I am on 3 yrs unsupervised probation. In 5/04, I was arrested for petty theft ($84). What are the consequences of petty theft? What will happen since I violated probation?

Re: DUI, Probation Violation, Petty Theft

You are correct, it is a violation of your probation. Normally, petty theft results in fines, restitution and probation. If you are concerned about the potential penalties, you might consider having an attorney represent you on these charges, to minimize the chance of having an unpleasant outcome. contact me if interested.
