Re: dui

No. A California DUI has to be litigated in California. However, because a DUI is a misdemeanor (most of the time) the whole case can be handled by an attorney only, without defendant having to make personal appearances.

Re: dui

You will have to call me and explain your question a little better. Dui's do not transfer. Are you asking if a dui in California effect a driver's license in New Jersey. It might if New Jersey knew about it.

Call me if you like.

Re: dui

Your question is not clear. If you are asking if a CA DWI transfers to NJ the answer is "most likely". It would depend however on what exactly you plead or were found guilty of in CA and a couple of other factors that I can discuss with you if you would like to contact my office.

Re: dui

"Transfer"? Yes, a conviction shows on all state's computer systems, if that's what you're asking. Can you have one state 'transfer' the criminal charges to another state to handle for your 'convenience'? No.
