Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
dui-second offense
I recently received a second dui.
My first one occurred 5 years ago.
Should I try and get an attorney or should I work with the public defender?

Re: dui-second offense
If you can afford a private attorney you won't qualify for a PD. Keep in mind the mandatory jail time on conviction of the 2nd DUI when deciding what to do. Feel free to contact me if you want legal help, if the case is in SoCal.
