early expungement?

Is there any way to expunge misdemeanors before my informal probationary period is over?

Re: early expungement?

Yes. You can petition for an expungement in the interest of justice. Generally, when you have completed 50% of your probationary period is when they are granted. However, you can petition before you have completed 50% and a Judge can make a finding that "in the interest of justice" the request is granted. Good Luck. If you are looking for an attorney to help you with the expungement you may contact my office. The expungement must be petitioned for at the same court where the matter was originally decided.

Re: early expungement?

You should hire an attorney to appear in court with you and ask the court to terminate your probation early. Then you will be able to expunge the conviction from your record if you satisfy all of the requirements.

Feel free to contact me if you need any further assistance. Best of luck.

Re: early expungement?

It is possible to specially petition the court for early termination of probation for good cause in the interests of justice, and then seek expungement, but this can be done no earlier than a minimum of one year after conviction. It is up to the discretion of the judge whether to grant, based upon your facts and persuasive arguments. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting legal help doing this.
