Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
embelzement
an individual I am related to embezled monies from the employer, they had this person payback the money, approximately $30,000., kept the person employed until they received their money, and then let this person go.
The company is still auditing the accounts, if they find more, can they come back to this individual and press charges?

Re: embelzement
Yes, they can. I would cross my fingers and quietly wait. The more time passes by the less likely it is that charges will be filed.
