embezzelment

treasurer of our non profit social club embezzeled aprox $2400.00. signed a contract with board members stating she would make restitution by todays date,4/15/08 and did not-what do we do now to recover the club funds and to prosecute?

You file police report for the police to investigate and the prosecution to file charges if appropriate. Criminal investigation and prosecution can mean powerful leverage to force restitution.
