Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
i embezzled from where i worked at, does the employer have the right to contact your family and spouse and tell them what you did?

They CAN do anything they like, and can get away with. They shouldn't, but you don't have much ground to complain, since you just confessed to the crime publicly.
You should worry about the criminal charges they should bring. If serious about hiring counsel to help in that defense, feel free to contact me.
A little free advice: exercise the 5th Amendment right to SHUT UP and do NOT talk to police or anyone about the case except with and through an attorney. And, stop confessing in public.
