Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
my employer owes me $100,000. I have promissory note. I quit the job because the employer went broke. I now sued them for my note and they turned around saying that I embezzled the company fund. Can they report me to the district attorney?

This would be a great question to ask the attorney who is handling your $100,000 lawsuit.

Of course, if they believe you did and they have any evidence. If you have an attorney, he can answer the question after reviewing all the facts and evidence. If you don't, get one now before you really screw up your situation more. If serious about doing so, and if you're in SoCal, feel free to contact me.
