Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

To Erase a Record?

In 2000, I pleaded no contest to PC M484E(D). The outcome was that I pay a court fine, and report for a two day stay in county jail. I have done all that the court has asked, and now nearly six years have past. I would like to have this expunged from my record, is that possible? If so, how would I go about doing so?

Re: To Erase a Record?

If you pled to a misdemeanor, not a felony, and have completed all probation terms, you can seek expungement. If granted, you can then say 'no' to conviction on job applications to private employers. You still must disclose on all govt agency and licensing applications, etc. Contact me if interested in doing this right. It is not that expensive.
