Re: Espunge of records

Expungement is limited. In general, and with some exceptions, it allows a person to say they have not been convicted in some civil situations where, for example, they are looking for a job. Expungement does not erase criminal records accessible to and used by law enforcement agencies, state or federal.

Re: Espunge of records

Pardons are seldom granted, and the process if not cheap.

IF you and the conviction qualify, by having successfully completed all terms of probation, expungement will allow you to say 'no' to conviction of most employment applications. Expungement is not available if you were sentenced to prison, or if it is for domestic violence and some other charges. IF you think you qualify, feel free to contact me for the legal help you'll need.

Re: Espunge of records

You never expunge a record from the department of justice, but only from public eyes. Go to my website there is a article on expungement. A pardon requires the Governor's personal intervention.

Good Luck
