Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
exonerating forfieted bail
While in custody I posted bail for a traffic ticket $1800. sentenced to atate prison ..no appear on ticket, warrant issued, bail forfieted. How can I get this money back? Help!

You don't. IF you posted cash bail to the court, and went to all court appearances, you'd get it back. If it was 'forfeited' for non appearance, its gone. If you paid the money to a bail bondsman to post a bond, its gone.
