Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
expunge a felony
I had a felony possession for sale with fire arm resulting in prison time. This conviction was in 1999. Do I have to wait 8 or 10 yr before I can request it expunged?
thx

If you served time in state prison, you may not expunge unfortunately. However, you might be able to get a Certificate of Rehabilitation and eventually a pardon down the line.

You can wait as long as you like. It can not be expunged since there was a sentence of prison time.
