Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

expungement

The criminal record has a misdemeanor of theft, (260.00) which was pleaded ''no contest'' to. It is the only item on the record. Can I have this expunged? The incident happened about 10 years ago.

Most likely, I would need to get more details. The cost is approximately $500 - $700 depending on the complexity of your case.

Re: expungement

Thank you for your posted inquiry.

The guidelines for an expungement require that you have completed all terms of your original case, and have had no new cases (or similar cases) since the original conviction.

Since your case is 10 years old, I would say it would be very, very likely that you can get this expunged, to answer your question directly.

I hope that this information helps, but if you have more questions, want more information, or feel that you need legal representation, please feel free to contact me directly at [email protected]. Best of luck, and Im happy to help you in any way that I can.

Re: expungement

Sure, since you have no other convictions after it. Contact me to discuss facts and the fees for doing so. It is not that expensive.
