Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

expungement forms

I have a conviction for lewd conduct some years ago. The public defender advised I could have this expunged one year after the probation period was up. i woud like to have it ''removed'', but don't know what forms to file with the court. Can you help? Thank you very much.

Usually this is done by an attorney through Application to the court. If interested in discussing facts and reasonable fees, contact me.

Re: expungement forms

MOst county probation departments perform this function. Contact the probation department in the county in which the conviction occurred and request the form to have your record expunged. You will have to provide information regarding the case number, charges and the date of conviction.
