Can I get an Iowa charge expunged from CA? I am a CA resident for 2 yrs.

No state can expunge a conviction entered in another state. You will have to seek expungement from an Iowa court, and your eligibility will be determined according to Iowa law. You may want to re-post your question under Iowa law so you can get responses from lawyers in that state.

By hiring an Iowa attorney to go to Iowa court, if they have expungement process there.

You should retain an Iowa lawyer. Alternatively, you could contact the court clerk at the Iowa court to see what you would need to do to do it yourself.
