Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

expungement or pardon?

My husband was convicted of armed robbery at the age of 18, he served time with the California youth athority and then was peroled. As soon as his proloe was completed he joined the Marines Corps, that was 27 years ago and he is still serving.

We would like to have his record expunged or maybe see if we could get a pardon from the Govonor. We are not sure what avune to go down, any suggestions?

Re: expungement or pardon?

Since your husband was 18, he may not be able to have the conviction sealed. However, we can work on the expungment together. It is a paper intensive process, but with more information, may be quite possible.

Convictions as a minor can be sealed and destroyed. Contact me to discuss the details and costs.
