Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Expunging my criminal record

How can I expunge my past criminal record? I was convicted of a misdemeanor in 1988 for possessing a concealed weapon. I have had a clean record since. I received a sentence of 1 year probation and loss of the gun.

Your attorney can file a motion to expunge the conviction, IF you satisfied and completed all terms of probation and have no further arrests. If interested, contact me to discuss facts and fees.

Re: Expunging my criminal record

The probation department in the county in which the conviction occurred will do the paperwork for a minimal fee. Contact the probation department and obtain the form, fill it out and submit it with the required fee.
