Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

False Identification

I told a peace offiver that i was someone else when I was pulled over. I now have a warrant but it has been two years. Can I still get charged with false indentification. I never entered a plea or went to any court dates.

Re: False Identification

If a warrant has been issued you have been charged and should obtain a lawyer. You don't want the warrant to be served on you at an inconvenient time or place and find yourself waiting for days to go to court. Feel free to contact me to discuss the case further.

Re: False Identification

Warrants are forever. Unless you handle this voluntarily, you will someday come in contact with law enforcement, through a traffic stop or ID check, and then be arrested and transported to the court.
