Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Falsely Accused
If someone files with the local P.D. a list of accusations that they know are false and misleading, do I have any recourse in any action against them. My former employer filed a list of charges against me in a civil trial which was settled, and now we have been questioned by a local detective about criminal charges, using the same list.

Re: Falsely Accused
IF you can prove they were knowingly falsely made, then you have grounds for action. If so, feel free to contact me to discuss your remedies and risks. Simple dispute over facts is not the same.
