Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Falsely Arrested, not guilty of charge(s)/stopped without probable cause

What does someone do if they have been 100% falsely arrested?

I am not guilty of the policeman's charges nor was there any probable cause for the situation to have even occurred. I was simply walking home from work like I always/often do.

"What does someone do"? They defend the criminal charges with whatever admissible evidence they have, file any appropriate suppression motions, go to trial if necessary. Most people hire an attorney that knows how to do those things.

There is only one thing you or anyone in your situation can do - get a lawyer. Do not try to represent yourself - always a bad idea. You might benefit from getting an attorney involved to intervene before charges are filed.

I want to add something. You're not the first person who got arrested and thinks they're innocent. Some people in your position walk in to court and start telling their story to the judge or D.A. about how innocent they are. Well, guess what. They hear the same thing a hundred times a day. If you don't handle the situation correctly, for example by hiring an experienced lawyer to go to court for you on the first court date, you'll go to jail, and 100% of the other inmates will have a story just like yours about how innocent they are, too.
